COLUMBUS, Ohio - Flood warnings are in effect for several Ohio counties as rain continues to soak the state.

The National Weather Service warned of flash floods until 3:15 p.m. in southwest Ohio, including eastern Hamilton, eastern Butler, western Warren and parts of Kenton and Campbell counties.

Flood warnings were in effect through 11 p.m. for Mill Creek in northern Hamilton and extreme southwestern Butler counties.

Flood advisories were also in effect in southeastern Adams County and western Scioto County.

Meteorologists predicted an inch and a half of rain in and around Cincinnati Saturday, with more rain and some thunderstorms expected through Thursday.

Numerous roads were closed due to high water and two Cincinnati bus routes had to be detoured around high waters.
