CLEVELAND -- It's supply and demand. As more events and jobs come to Cleveland, more people come with them, which puts a premium on downtown parking.

Street lots go from $7.50 and $9 to $10 or $12, while special events advertise up to $30.

Some may complain about the price to park,  but others are finding solutions and take advantage of cheaper lots and free spaces further away from their destination.

There are some lots, like the one on Lakeside Avenue, that charge just $1.50 a day.

Others find that public transportation is the best way to go. Despite the rising cost, those coming to town from bigger metropolitan areas say it could be a lot worse.
