CLEVELAND -- The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon brought people in from all over the globe and all age groups.
Around 22,000 people participated in one of the days' events, with a pair from Kenya clocking the fastest times in the days' premiere contest.

Philemon Terer crossed the finish line at 2 hours, 17 minutes, and 36 seconds, giving him top honor on the day. It was the first marathon win for the 27 year old.
The fastest female finished about 16 minutes behind, as fellow Kenyan Sarah Kiptoo joined him in the winner's circle.
