CLEVELAND -- We now know to what lengths the cleveland school district went to provide support and counseling to students after the discovery of Gina DeJesus, Amanda Berry and Michelle Knight.
All of the girls were, at one time, Cleveland students.
According to the district, they sent the crisis team to schools where there are relatives of the victims, and relatives of the suspect.
There are additional safety plans for the students as they arrive and depart from school, and also at recess time.
The crisis team also has provided school psychologists to help with children who live near the crime scene on Seymour Avenue.
In addition, the district sent a support team to the bus depot where Ariel Castro used to work.
