EASTLAKE -- Police say a Wickliffe man dressed as a woman used a large purse he had just taken off the shelves to hide the other items he was stealing at Walmart.
At 6 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to Walmart by its loss prevention officers for a man they had detained.
Police said the man, 23, was arrested and charged with two counts of theft.
Polioce say the man first stole a large purse and then began filling the purse with other items he was stealing, including an electric toothbrush, brush heads and thigh-high hosiery, totaling $221.84.
He was taken into custody and is being held on $404 bond which he has not posted.
Police say that on Saturday, the same man was seen on surveillance video concealing an electric toothbrush and brush heads, valued at $178.
