TWINSBURG -- Fifteen-year-old Devon Conwell passed away Wednesday evening in Twinsburg.

Conwell collapsed suddenly while playing basketball at the Pinnacle Sports Academy and was rushed to the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg where he was pronounced dead.

The Summit County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy Thursday morning, but the cause of death is still being determined.

Nicknamed "Big Daddy", Devon played basketball and football for Kent Roosevelt, where he was a sophomore. He had interest from Notre Dame, Pitt, and Cincinnati.

The Kent Roosevelt community gathered for a candlelight vigil Thursday night at the rec to share stories, pray, and bask in the memory of Conwell's infectious smile.
