CLEVELAND -- We already know that Captain America is coming to Cleveland, but now we are hearing where.
Multiple movie industry websites, like SuperHeroHype.com, report that filming in Ohio will begin next month at the Lorain Road Bridge, next to Fairview Hospital.
The 76-year-old span on the border with Fairview Park, is only about 250 feet long, however, 4 impressive steel arches tower over the Rocky River Reservation.
The reports say film producers will place a giant green screen on the side of the bridge, so they can use a different background.
The possibilities have people excited in the nearby Kamm's Corners district.
"Really? That's awesome!" said Kevin Boll, manager of the Public House pub, when he heard the news.
He hopes for an economic boost, just like area businesses saw in downtown Cleveland during the filming of "The Avengers."
"It will help us, because if people are going to be in the area, whether it's cast or crew, maybe if they have time, they can hit up the Kamm's area," said Boll.
Nearby residents are excited too. Many of them don't mind the expected inconvenience of closed roads during the filming.
"This is great for the area," said resident Mike Fisher. "If the road's closed, I'll just go a different way around."
