MEDINA -- The Medina County Sheriff says a travel alert issued earlier this morning has been canceled.
Sheriff Tom Miller had issued a level one snow emergency for Medina County after several inches of snow fell overnight. The alert indicated that the roadways were hazardous and cautioned drivers to use extreme caution.
The storm system that brought the snow is beginning to move out and road conditions have improved.
Some cities have parking bans in effect as a result of the snow including Brunswick and Wadsworth.
