MIDDLEFIELD -- A former high school teacher entered a not guilty plea in court in Middlefield this morning.

Samuel Paskey, 44, of Cortland, faces charges of sexual imposition. Investigators accuse Paskey of inappropriately touching juvenile girls.

He was a math teacher at Cardinal High School before resigning from the district last week.

Paskey had been placed on administrative leave Feb. 26, school officials said. The move came after an investigation was initiated after several girls made statements to school district officials.
