Cleveland: Woman has motorized wheelchair stolen while shopping

CLEVELAND - Police are asking for the public's help locating a motorized wheelchair stolen from a woman while she was shopping.

Police say the 75-year-old woman was at the Walmart at Steelyard Commons on March 6.

She parked her Hover Around wheelchair at the security desk and switched to a Walmart electric wheelchair because it was equipped with a shopping basket.

When the woman returned to the security desk to retrieve her chair, it was gone.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts the womans stolen Hover Around wheelchair is asked to call the Second District Detective Bureau at 216.623.5218.
