CLEVELAND -- A Cleveland mother has been charged after police say she made threats against her son's school because she was upset with how her son was treated.

According to an incident report, police were called to Nathan Hale School on February 21 for a woman that had threatened to blow up the school.

Officers located the woman matching a description they were given sitting in the passenger seat of a green minivan.

Police then interviewed a teacher at the school, who says the woman-a mother of a student-had called him 3 to 4 times angry over the treatment of her son. The teacher says the mom threatened to physically beat him up and then threatened to shoot him.

The teacher says the woman's son was removed from class for failure to do a writing assignment.

A secretary at the school says the mom also called the office and threatened to 'shoot up' the building.

Police took the mom identified as Aukenia Mason, 30, into custody on school property. She's charged with inducing panic.   She was unarmed when taken into custody, according to a police report.
