STRONGSVILLE --As the teacher strike in Strongsville enters its fourth day, another teacher claims to have been struck by a car.
The alleged incident happened shortly after 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning. According to reports, the teacher was struck in the leg while picketing in the middle school driveway.
The teacher made a report at the police department and then drove to the hospital to have his injuries checked. There is no word on the severity of his injuries at this time.
Earlier this week, another teacher claims to have been struck by a vehicle while picketing.
Meanwhile, both sides in the Strongsville teacher strike met Wednesday night for an exploratory conversation at the office of the federal mediator in Independence. Both sides walked out after 90 minutes.
It was determined both sides remain far apart and no new talks are scheduled.
