BRIMFIELD -- A school board meeting scheduled for Monday night at the Field High School in Brimfield has been cancelled.

A statement from the Field Local School Board President states that the cancellation was due to threats made against one or more of the board members.

Channel 3 has learned that three of the five members voted recently not to renew the Superintendent's contract and that has caused division in the district.

But Brimfield Police Chief David Oliver says he hasn't been informed of any threats and posted that on the department's Facebook page Monday.
