AKRON -- A 21-year-old man was shot after a fight ensued inside an apartment in the 2500 block of Romig Road where he was helping a woman move out Wednesday afternoon.
According to Akron Police, as the victim, of Maple Heights, was helping the female move out of the apartment, her boyfriend showed up with another male.
After a physical altercation, the victim was shot in the arm.
He was taken to Akron General Medical Center with injuries that authorities say are not life-threatening.
The suspect, according to police, is the female's boyfriend's friend. His name was not released, but police say he has a tear-drop tattoo near his right eye.
