WILLOUGHBY --- It was a "score" for police Thursday.

Police responded to a suspicious call at the Oakhill Village Apartments. The caller reported seeing people in a white vehicle with a Dallas Cowboys sticker on it smoking what the caller believed to be drugs.

The caller said he vehicle was parked outside building #9.

Police pulled up and saw a white Mitsubishi with a Dallas Cowboys sticker in the lot occupied by four people and a fifth person walking up to the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was questioned and he admitted to having marijuana inside the vehicle. That's when all of the occupants were asked to step out of the vehicle.

While officers were searching the center console, a bag of marijuana was found, along with a plastic baggie containing 10 Percocet pills.

Four hypodermic syringes and a spoon with white residue on it were located underneath the front passenger seat.

Police were not surprised when everybody in the vehicle denied ownership of the drug abuse instruments so they arrested everybody and took them back to the police station for booking.

The Mitsubishi was towed back to the station for further processing.

Police said all of the evidence recovered was submitted into evidence and some was sent to the Lake County Crime Lab for analysis.
