We see what's trending in tonight's Hot Topics.

Two beaches in Martin County, Florida, were closed briefly after sharks were spotted in the water. Marine scientists say sharks typically follow migrations of bait fish, but these sightings come at a time when there haven't been any reports of large bait fish. Martin County is in the central part of Florida.

Calling it disappointing would be an understatement. Imagine if you bought an iPad at Wal-Mart only to discover that there was no iPad inside. It's happening all over the country with people who bought iPads at the retail store. Wal-mart said that they would make this right and are trying to figure out why iPad boxes were only stuffed with paper.

Police in Georgia say surveillance video shows a woman running her car into a high school student in a parking lot. What's more surprising about this case is the driver is a school board member. The girl who was hit said that she was holding a parking spot for her brother's girlfriend. Police charged the driver with reckless conduct. The attorney for the driver says the girl "leaned" into the car.
