Cleveland: Two men shot at gas station identified

CLEVELAND -- Tuesday at 2:20 a.m., police received a call for shots fired in the area of E. 71st Street and Harvard Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located two men with a gunshot wounds. EMS was at the scene and took the victims to MetroHealth Medical Center, where they are being treated for their injuries.

The preliminary investigation reveals that a fight broke out at the gas station.

During the fight, police say a light-complexioned black man produced a handgun and fired several shots into the crowd, hitting both victims.

Both victims stated that they were not involved in the fight.

Brandon Williams, 20, of Cleveland, had a gunshot wound to the back. Shaquille Authur, 18, of Cleveland, had a gunshot wound to left shoulder.

The suspect is described as a light-complexioned man, black, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, wearing a dark coat and blue jeans.
