WILLOUGHBY -- Police are asking for the public's help in catching whomever is is breaking into local businesses.
Police say that, on Saturday, someone stole a credit card from a female employee's purse at the Breckenridge Village retirement community.
At least three fraudulent purchases were charged to the woman's account before the card could be deactivated.
On Wednesday, thefts were reported at McAttack Machine at 38338 Apollo Parkway and Pace Engineering at 4800 Dalton Drive.
The owner of McAttack Machine reported a metal air conditioning unit frame and five aluminum placement fixtures were stolen.
At Pace Engineering, two bins of carbide cutting inserts and a set of micrometers were reported stolen.
