TRUMBULL -- Fire crews say one person is dead after a boat sank in Mosquito Lake early Saturday morning.
The Trumbull County Sheriff's Office say that the boat flipped sometime around 6:30 a.m.
According to Fire Chief Dennis Lewis, three men left shore around 6:00 a.m. from the main dock of Mosquito Lake. About a half hour the boat began to sink. The 3 men yelled for help and were heard by other duck hunters on shore.
The hunters called called 911.
Rescue crews were able to get to two of the three victims. They could not immediately locate the last man.
After searching for the most of the day, crews located the last victim. Daniel Khalil, 35, was found dead about a mile from where the boat sank.
The first two victims were taken to St. Joseph Medical Hospital where they were treated and released.
