CLEVELAND -- The RTA rail tunnel that runs under Cleveland Hopkins Airport will close November 27 to undergo major repairs.
The tunnel, on the Red Line, is expected to be closed for six months in order for the $10.1 million repair project to be completed.
The tunnel is 44-years old.
RTA says during the shutdown it will operate bus service between the bus stop area on the east side of the Brookpark Station and the limousine staging area near the Airport terminal.
Customers should allow extra time to reach the Airport, or to arrive at their final destination from the airport.
