CLEVELAND -- A man has been taken into custody following a standoff in Cleveland early Friday morning.

The SWAT team was called after the man refused to come out of the house when the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrived at the home at East 64th and Harvard to serve a murder warrant.

SWAT members entered the home and were able to safely remove a two-year-old child inside the home during the standoff. A further search of the home also turned up the suspect who was taken into custody without incident.

Police identify the man as Darryl Coleman, 24, of Cleveland. He was wanted on a warrant in connection with the death of Duane Jacobs on September 25. Jacobs, a store clerk, died after being shot in the face during a robbery at the YaYa Market on Union Avenue.
