MEDINA -- A museum-full of items is hitting the auction block. Loads of tools, toys and memorabilia from the shuttered America's Ice Cream and Dairy Museum at Elm Farms will be up for bids.

The Dairy Museum items go up for bids this weekend -- on Sept. 29-30 -- while the ice cream items will be sold Oct.13-14 at 1050 Lafayette Road in Medina.

Auction information/directions

Included in the auction by First Quality Auction & Realty, are freezers, coolers, scrapers, scoops, cone makers, cone warmers, restored ice cream delivery vehicles, tractors, ice cream separators, toys, signs and lots more.

You can see some of the items that will be sold in the auction by clicking through the photo gallery above.

All the vehicles will sell on Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. sharp.

WKYC Photojournalist Mike Greene shows us some of the items you can bid on.

Elm Farm began as a dairy farm in the 1830's. In 1927, the Abell family purchased it and, in 1950, they began manufacturing ice cream.

The dairy closed in 1979, and the farm became a museum dedicated to the dairy and farming industry.

So, the family decided to sell just about the entire contents of the farm.

You might want to take home an old sign, antique butter churns, or even an old appliance that had several different uses.
