U.S. Automakers are bouncing back with stronger sales in the month of May. Ford, Chrysler and General Motors are all on the rise, which means Ohio plants are benefiting.

Demand for Avon Lake built Econoline vans increased 31%. The Brook Park built EcoBoost V6 engine boosted F-150 sales 29% Chevy isn't as lucky. Lordstown's Chevy Cruze slid 13%

John Adams, who works at Brook Park's Engine Plant, says he moved here from Michigan for the opportunity to work. And he only sees the plant expanding.

"We just added a third shift now. An extra 40 hours a week if not more."

Adams plans on retiring in Cleveland.

Automaker industry analysts believe total U.S. Sales for May should rise 30% to 1.4 million cars and trucks.
