PAINESVILLE -- Charges have been filed against a 20-year-old man in connection with a schoolyard incident that resulted in a gun being pulled on a group of teens.

Authorities charged Matt Isabella with aggravated menacing and unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon in Painesville Municipal Court Tuesday morning. He's scheduled for an arraignment on April 17.

Police say Isabella pulled the .380 gun during a confrontation with the group of teenagers over calls made to an ex-girlfriend.

Police say he is the son of an Eastlake police officer.  The gun belonged to the father but was not a service weapon.

A student recorded the incident on a cell phone camera.

Teens were able to wrestle the gun away. The weapon was not loaded.
