Hoping Santa will bring you a new car? Chances are good, considering sales are up. November auto sales were released today and it looks like last month was the best in 4 years. Chrysler reports its November sales rose 14 percent, Nissan's sales were up 13 percent, Hyundai rose 8 percent and Ford's sales are up by 6 percent.

One Toys R Us store isn't playing around this holiday season. The store in New York's Time's Square opened at 7 a.m. Sunday and won't close until Christmas Eve night. That means selling toys for 543 consecutive hours. That's longer than last year, when that same Toys R Us stayed open for more than 208 hours.

It's going to cost you more to ship your packages with FedEx and UPS in the New Year. The number one and number two package delivery companies announced shipping rates in are increasing in 2013. UPS says prices will go up 4.9 percent and now FedEx is matching that increase. The higher rates go into effect in January.
