How about bidding for your dinner -- at a grocery auction.
Every year, U.S. grocers discard $10 billion to $15 billion in unsold products. One way to make that money back is to sell it to auction houses.
Then the public can bid on those items that wholesalers and grocery stores are trying to unload.
Those items may be seasonal, discontinued, or past their "sell-by" date. But one thing's for sure, it's often a great deal.
Channel 3's Erin Kennedy has the story.
