This warm weather has many us thinking about taking a dip in the local pool, even though many of the outdoor pools won't open till Memorial Day.

But some may not be able to open at all if they're not compliant with new ADA regulations regarding accessibility for the disabled.

Senior Health Correspondent Monica Robins explains what may be a dry summer for some.

The pool in the new Collinwood recreation Center in Cleveland opened in total compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The sloping entryway is perfect for wheelchairs.

Not allpools in Cleveland are so equipped. Officials say it would be very difficult for the cCty of Cleveland to do this overnight. They have a total of 41 swimming pools, 22 of those are outdoor, 19 indoor. Of those, likely 2 of the indoor and one of the outdoor would comply with the new regulation.

The Department of Justice has given a 60-day reprieve for hotels and public pools for compliance.
