CLEVELAND -- Two people were killed on Cleveland's east side.

Just after 11 p.m. on Friday night Bruce Jernigan, 34, was shot and killed. The shooting happened in front of a residence on the 600 block of E. 109th Street.

Police say a man was driving in the area when he was approached by three men. One of the men was Jernigan.  Jernigan was standing in front of the mans car when he pulled out a gun.

The driver, a 53-year-old man exited the car and began shooting at Jernigan. The other suspects fired back.
