Fugitive of the Week wanted for murder of 'Big Moe'

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Vaughn Perry.

Perry is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the East Cleveland Police for a murder on Mount Union Avenue.

Perry is believed to be hiding somewhere in or around Cleveland. Perry also uses the alias Mondale Hunter. Perry lived at a Mount Union address but he also has a previous address on Miles Avenue near E. 108th Street in Cleveland.

On July 3, it is alleged that Perry killed Maurice "Big Moe" Jackson near the 1800 block of Mount Union Avenue in East Cleveland.

It's believed that Perry thought his girlfriend was having an affair with Jackson. Perry saw the two walking together, and waited in the darkness behind his girlfriend's residence.

When his girlfriend and Jackson appeared, Perry stabbed and slashed Jackson to death with an unknown sharp instrument.

Perry, 34, is black, stands 5'09," weighs 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
