AKRON -- Metro Parks serving Summit County has a renewal levy on the November ballot.
Voters in Summit County will be asked to renew a levy supporting their county park district. Issue 2 will cost property owners just under $45 per year per $100,000 of property value.
The money raised will go to park operations, maintenance and new projects in the district. Summit Metro Parks is developing a new park in Hudson called Wood Hollow. They are also planning to construct a nature center in the Liberty Park Metro Park, a property they share with Twinsburg.
