Cleveland police looking for man who stole 5 diamond rings

CLEVELAND -- Police are looking for a man who stole about $16,000 worth of jewelry from Young's Jewelry on Puritas Avenue.

According to jeweler Al Solymosi Jr., the man entered the jewelry store about 10 a.m. Saturday and spent more than three hours looking at diamond wedding ring sets.

At about 1:20 p.m. he ran out with five diamond rings.

He drove off in a small black car with a license plate of FMT-7186.

He is a black male in his 20s or early 30s, 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He had a "no play" tattoo on one hand and a tattoo on his other hand that appears to be a name beginning with the letter A.

Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call Cleveland police.
