AKRON -- Thursday night, the Cleveland FBI, along with Ohio's Bureau of Investigation and Identification and the Akron Police Department, recovered the remains of someone in a shallow grave on a side road behind the Rolling Acres Mall in Akron.

The FBI tells Channel 3 it is awaiting results on the identification of this individual from the Summit County Coroner's Office.  They said a tip led them to the grave.

FBI Special Agent Scott Wilson told Channel 3 about noon that this is an on-going investigation and additional information will be released at a later time.

The FBI is investigating whether the body is a second killing connected to a phony Craigslist job ad.

Agency spokeswoman Vicki Anderson says the FBI is working on the supposition that the body may be that of a missing Massillon man who answered the ad.

Anderson said the Summit County Coroner's office will examine the body on Saturday.

Missing Massillon man could be 3rd Craigslist victim

Timothy Kern, 47, of Massillon, hasn't been seen in more than a week. Authorities believe an ad for a farm hand in southeastern Ohio was used to lure people into a robbery.

One man who answered the ad was found dead, and another man escaped after being shot. Two people are in custody.
