They're asking more than 1,000 graduates to return their diplomas if the word "privileges" is misspelled.
The university's registrar says at least some diplomas were mailed to graduates with an extra "i" in the word.
How the mistake was made hasn't been determined. But what is certain is that the university doesn't want a diploma hanging on someone's wall with a misspelling.
The university is offering to exchange diplomas with misspellings for edited versions.
It wants the originals back so that they can't be used fraudulently.
