Our tester, Mike Kohuth, drives a lot and spends a lot to fill his tank.
"The last time I filled up I spent about 28-29 bucks," said Mike.
So when we asked him to try a little device that could potentially save him 20-30 percent on gas, he knew he wanted to try it.
"Well, since I am unemployed, I have a lot of job interviews. Sometimes I have to go to the far east side, or all the way to Elyria, and what better way to save on money and save gas?"
We dropped off the Neo Socket so he could try it for a couple of weeks. Mike found the installation simple enough.
"It's easy to use and starts working instantly. Just plug the Neo Socket into the car lighter, start driving."
Still Mike was unsure.
"I just don't know if it's going to work. We'll give it a shot," said Mike.
After a few weeks of using the Neo Socket, Mike said the results were very slight. The difference was a little over 15 miles more for the entire tank. However, over an entire year, the results could be significant.
Mike gave the Neo Socket 3 out of 5 stars.
The device is available on their website for $49 but we found it on e-Bay for $19.99.
